Desert Head: A short and fucked up Bahraini film

No one ever said "fucked up" was a bad thing.

So a group of creative Bahrainis got together to bring to life this wonderful brain fart by Khaled AlMoayed.

The butter of it all is that this random guy's car breaks down in the middle of the desert, and things just get weird from there.

Since the movie's pretty short (12 minutes but I swear it felt like 5!) I'll keep the review pretty short too.

The overall picture was great, we love the way it was filmed and all angles. The final editing was not perfect, but it didn't ruin how clean the film looked, especially to the inexpert eye (such as ours).

The sound was fantastic. Wonderful score.

The plot was not necessarily a new concept (getting lost in the desert and subsequent weirdness), but it was hilariously done.

A solid 8/10 from our side! 

The only feedback we can give (when overlooking the technical issues, that the Desert Head team already know about considering they MADE the movie) all comes down to personal tastes. Personally, I would have preferred it if the movie took place in Bahrain, instead of a Spanish-speaking country (I assume), it would have been funnier for me. Other teeny things that can be debated:

Intro was a little too long VS it was actually perfect to relate to the passage of time relative to the character

They could have chosen a creepier song VS it fit the mood perfectly, especially with the way the characters were acting

I'd rather watch a film with a point or a message VS enjoy this movie for what it is 

Get ready for some cheese: We would be proud to showcase this short film as the great result of Bahraini creativity and hard work.
