Zachary Levi Bears the Weight of a Bad Villain - Shazam! Review

Look, even after days of thinking it over, there’s not much I can add to my immediate after-cinema reaction to watching Shazam! I’ll do a little bullet point list for you, though. I love me some lists.
Pros
Zachary Levi is wonderful and very funny to watch
Diversity of cast
Doesn’t have Zack Snyder’s involvement
The third act
Cons
Awful and excruciatingly boring (and predictable) villain
Redundant on-the-noise dialogue
Slow (this is due to the bad villain, though)
I know you’re thinking, “Hey, three for three - that means it’s 50/50!” Listen, it’s hard to quantify the weight of a bad villain, but I’ll give it to you.
